How does the Damage Excess work?

​​The Damage Excess is the maximum amount that you are liable to pay for each accident or event of damage, unless the damage relates to the exclusions listed below. 

The Damage Excess shown in the table above is payable regardless of where the accident or damage occurred (ie. there are no separate or additional excesses for on-road, off-road or night driving etc).

Damage Cover Exclusions - Things that are NOT covered

​​The following is NOT covered by insurance and you must pay for the full cost of repairs:

• Damage after a major Breach of the Rental Agreement;

• Overhead  or Underbody Damage;

• Damage caused by total or partial immersion in water;

• Damage to the wheels or tyres (less any Adventure More benefits);

• Damage caused as a result of the vehicle tipping or rolling over whist on any Beach;

• Damage to any of the Camping Equipment;

Adventure More Cover Terms & Conditions

• To be eligible for Included Benefits you must selected Adventure More Cover prior to the commencement of your rental. 

• Reimbursement for Included Benefits will only be made where We are satisfied that the claim is legitimate and a valid, 3rd party tax invoice as well as photographs of the scene have been supplied by you. 

• We do not reimburse unused days, including amounts paid for Adventure More Cover, if your rental finishes early.

• Included benefits are payable only in relation to accidental damage. 

• Adventure More Included Benefits are not payable and your liability is not reduced in circumstances where damage has been caused by a breach of the Rental Agreement.
